THE 2026 Amgen Irish Open is set to be staged at a Co Clare links course for the second time in seven years.

The DP World Tour confirmed this Wednesday that there is a new venue for the Amgen Irish Open in 2026, which will be played at Trump International Golf Links, Doonbeg, for the first time from September 10-13.

The tournament, which was won in spectacular fashion by Rory McIlroy at the K Club last week, will again form part of the ‘Back 9’.

2026 will be the second time in seven years that the tournament will be played in Co Clare as Lahinch Golf Club hosted the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in 2019.

The event was won by Major winner John Rahm.
