Consumers should stop using the product immediately
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission in Ireland have issued a recall on a popular household item, due to fears it could potentially lead to a fire.
Block Blue Light limited is carrying out a recall on Block Blue Light Multimode Sleep Lamp.
The risk presented by this product is fire. Due to a fault with the overcharge protection mechanism, the battery can overcharge and overheat which may lead to a fire.

The brand is Block Blue Light. The model is BBL-MM-LAMP.

There are approximately 11 affected products in the Republic of Ireland, and consumers should stop using the product immediately.
Block blue light limited have emailed all affected consumers offering a replacement product, refund or store credit.
