Over €330k of counterfeit goods, drugs and alcohol seized by Revenue this week
This past week, week commencing November 25, 2024, Revenue officers seized contraband with an estimated value of €332,000 in various operations in Dublin, the Midlands and Rosslare.
The detections were made as a result of risk profiling and included the following:
The illegal drugs were discovered, with the assistance of detector dogs Ciara and Grace in parcels, that originated in the USA, the United Kingdom, Canada, Thailand, India, Tanzania and The Netherlands.
The parcels were destined for various addresses nationwide.

The counterfeit goods were seized as they were confirmed by the Rights Holder to have infringed on Intellectual Property Rights.
Investigations into all seizures are ongoing.
