Gardaí hiring for civilian job with salary up to €60k and no degree required

An Garda Síochána is hiring for a new role with a salary rising to almost €60,000.

They posted about the new role on social media where they advised they are looking to hire Crime and Data Analysts (Executive Officer level).

"Join the Garda Síochána Analysis Service (GSAS) and contribute to crime prevention by supporting predictive policing based on insightful analysis of crime patterns, why it is happening and what is likely to happen next," a statement read.

They list the key requirements as a degree (minimum level 7) in a related field or equivalent, OR a Leaving Certificate with relevant grades and 2 years of experience.

Requirements also include "proven skills in analysing qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources and experience in researching, identifying trends, and presenting clear findings."

The salary starts at €36,544 and rises to €59,422 on a scale.
