An Irish man in his 60s has died in an incident at a hotel in Thailand.
The man is reported to have died in the city of Pattaya in the south of Thailand, which is popular with holidaymakers.
The Department of Foreign Affairs said it is aware of the man’s death.
A spokesperson for the department said: “The Department of Foreign Affairs is aware of the death and is providing consular assistance.
“As with all consular cases, the department does not comment on the details of any specific case.”
