Kelsey Kenny has been located safe and well
Searches to locate a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing earlier this week have been stood down, gardai have confirmed.
A national appeal for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Kelsey Kenny was issued after she was last seen in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, at around 5pm on Wednesday.
At the time, gardai said there were concerns for Kelsey's wellbeing adding that she may have travelled to Dublin.
In an update, issued this Friday, they confirmed that she has now "been located safe and well".
In a brief statement, gardai thanked media organisations and members of the the public for their assistance after the appeal was issued.

No further information relating the circumstances which led to her being located have been disclosed publicly.
