A motorist was clocked by gardaí driving at more than double the speed limit in the middle of the day recently.
Gardaí were performing a speed check in Dublin 15 when they detected the car being driven at more than twice the legal limit.
Gardaí say they clocked the car travelling at 121kp/h in a 60km zone along the Navan Road in Dublin 15.
Gardaí were checking speed on the Navan Road, Dublin 15 earlier on around 4:30pm when they clocked a person driving 121kp/h in a 60kp/h zone.

The driver was arrested and charged and is due to appear before the courts in the coming weeks.
