A full road closure is in place | FILE PICTURE
A SECTION of one of the busiest roads in the country has been closed following an early-morning collision.
While details of the incident remain clear, Transport Infrastructure Ireland is advising of major delays on the M7 between Junction 13 (Kildare) and Junction 12 (Newbridge).
The eastbound carriageway of the motorway has been fully closed to facilitate a recovery operation.

Several motorists have take to social media to post photographs of lengthy delays on the the approach to the incident.
While emergency services are in attendance, it's not known if there have been any injuries.
