The closure is in place to allow for tree removal works.
Mayo County Council has announced the closure of the Foxford to Pontoon Road from Monday, September 22, to Friday, September 26, between 8 am and 6 pm.
The closure is in place to allow for tree removal works. Diversions will be in place along the N26 Ballina Road and R310 Ballynaraha to Pontoon.
Motorists can expect delays and are asked to allow extra time for their journey. Alternative routes are advised to motorists. Mayo County Council has said that emergency vehicles will be accommodated.
