Ballina's Irish captains Ailish Quinn and Caelan Doris met
Two Irish captains - one club.
History was made in Ballina Rugby Club on Friday night when Ailish Quinn and Caelan Doris were pictured together. Both learned their rugby trade in the club by the Moy and skippered Ireland impressively earlier this season.
Quinn captained her country in the recent Six Nations Championship in Wales, while Doris led Ireland out for their championship clash with Italy back in February.
Both have been busy on the club front recently, with Quinn helping Ballina to the Connacht Cup in Dexcom Stadium and Doris powering Leinster into the Champions Cup semi-final.
The big man was in Ballina to meet Quinn and her cup-winning team-mates at an informal gathering in the Ballina RFC clubhouse.
