Connacht Junior Cup fixtures cancelled due to weather warning

BALLINROBE and Castlebar's highly-anticipated Connacht Junior Cup quarter-final meeting has been cancelled due to impending bad weather. 

With Storm Isha to bring yellow and orange wind warnings tomorrow, fixtures throughout the province have been cancelled. 

Ballinrobe and Castlebar were the only two Mayo teams left in the competition after Ballina, Ballyhaunis and Westport were knocked out in the previous rounds. 

Connacht Rugby have also announced that the U-16 Girls Division 1 League Final and the U-18 Boys Division 2 Final have  been postponed. 

An extended yellow wind warning will be in place for the entire country from 11am tomorrow (Sunday), with Mayo to be placed under an orange wind warning from 5pm until 5am on Monday.
