MAYO managers Brian Finn and Ray Larkin have made one change to their starting team to face New York in a novel Connacht Hurling League Cup final in Bekan tomorrow (Saturday).

Matthew Connor from Caiseal Gaels has been named full forward with Moytura's Brendan Sheridan dropping to the bench while Ronan O’Reilly and Jack Doocey from Ballyvary Hurling have been called into the match day squad.

Mayo booked their place in the final with a 0-23 to 1-16 defeat over Roscommon on Wednesday while New York had eleven different scorers when they saw off a Galway development team on a score of 1-27 to 1-16.

Larkin and Finn's charges are still without a number of key Tooreen players who contested an All-Ireland Intermediate Club Championship semi-final in December.

The full starting team is as follows

Davog Frayne Tooreen; Luke Connor (Caiseal Gaels), Danny Hill (Ballyhaunis), Conor Murray (Castlebar Mitchels);
Evan Heraty (Moytura), Eoghan Collins (Ballyhaunis), Shane Crinnigan (Tooreen); John Heraty (Moytura), Adrian Phillips (Ballyhaunis); Joe Burke (Moytura), Cormac Phillips (Ballyhaunis), Sean Mulroy (Ballyvary); Michael Farrell (Ballyhaunis), Matthew Connor (Caiseal Gaels), Kealan Gallagher (Westport)
