Road closures will be in place at Johns Row in Westport to facilitate works by Gas Networks Ireland.
Mayo County Council has announced temporary road closures in Westport to facilitate essential gas infrastructure works.
The L-5801-2, L-5801-3 and L-5801-4 roads at Johns Row will be closed to traffic today (Thursday, April 9), as part of works being carried out by Gas Networks Ireland.
Motorists are advised that diversions will be in place throughout the duration of the works, with access restricted to local traffic only.
The council has urged road users to plan their journeys in advance and to follow all posted signage and traffic management measures in the area.
The temporary closures are necessary to allow the safe completion of the gas network works, with minimal disruption expected once the project is complete.
