BALLYHAUNIS native, Fr Kieran Waldron, celebrated his 90th birthday last week in the Ave Maria Nursing Home in Tooreen, Mayo.
Among those calling to wish him well was Archbishop Francis Duffy who congratulated him on 65 years of service as a priest and who joined in the words of thanks to Tommy and Anne Feeney and staff for the wonderful care accorded to Fr Kieran.
Archbishop Francis was accompanied on his visit to Tooreen by Fr Stephen Farragher, PP, Ballyhaunis, who also joined in the warm good wishes to Fr Kieran on his special day.
