Newly upgraded PRM/Blue Badge parking at Ireland West Airport offers close access to the terminal, doubling previous capacity for passengers with reduced mobility
Ireland West Airport has completed an upgrade to its car park in front of the terminal building, significantly improving accessibility for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) and Blue Badge holders.
The upgrade has more than doubled the number of dedicated spaces, with over 40 PRM/Blue Badge spots now available.
The newly expanded parking area is conveniently located close to both the departures and arrivals doors of the terminal, making access to the airport easier for those who need it most.
The airport said the improvements are designed to make the travel experience smoother for passengers requiring extra support, ensuring safe and convenient access to the terminal.
With Ireland West Airport handling nearly 923,000 passengers in 2025, these enhancements come at a crucial time as the airport continues to see growth in passenger numbers and strives to provide improved services for all travelers.
