Mayo fliers urged to note major change at Ireland West Airport

The change will affect all flights to and from Ireland West Airport, Knock

Mayo fliers have been urged to take note of an important change to Ryanair's boarding pass procedure for any flights both in and out of Ireland West Airport, Knock, which comes into effect tomorrow.

From Wednesday, November 12, Ryanair will be implementing a move to 100 per cent Digital Boarding Passes.

The change means that paper boarding passes will no longer be issued by the airline.

Online check-in will be available to passengers on the Ryanair app or their website, ryanair.com. Passengers will receive a digital boarding pass on the Ryanair app.

However, if passengers do not have access to a smartphone or tablet, they will receive a free boarding pass at the airport as long as they have checked in online before going to the airport.
