Mayo company Portwest, a global leader in innovative workwear, safety footwear and PPE, is proud to announce its continued partnership as the official workwear partner of Croke Park, Ireland’s largest stadium and home of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA).
The renewal of this exciting collaboration brings together two iconic Irish names, each with a rich history of excellence and commitment to community. As part of the partnership, Portwest will supply Croke Park staff with high-quality, durable, and sustainable workwear designed to keep the workforce safe and protected, while meeting the demands of maintaining and operating one of the world’s most renowned stadiums.
Rachel Davoren, Managing director of Charles Hughes Ltd said that "We are delighted to partner with Croke Park, a venue that holds such cultural and sporting significance in Ireland. At Portwest, we pride ourselves on creating workwear that combines innovation, safety, and comfort. Supporting the dedicated staff at Croke Park with the gear they need is a perfect alignment of our values."
Croke Park, which welcomes over a million visitors annually for sporting fixtures, concerts, and events, relies on a skilled workforce to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. The partnership with Portwest reinforces the stadium’s commitment to quality, safety, and sustainability.
Peter McKenna, Croke Park Stadium Director, said: “We pride ourselves working with companies that reflect the stadium’s and the GAA’s values and ethos. Portwest, a Westport based company since 1904, does just that. The high standards we set ourselves across the stadium are well complemented with the quality gear our volunteer stewards and other staff will wear on match day.”
The partnership reflects both organisations’ dedication to excellence, sustainability, and supporting Irish communities.
