Mayo town set for delays with roadworks commencing this week

The L-5956 Cloonkedagh Road and car park in Kiltimagh will undergo road resurfacing works according to Mayo County Council

Mayo County Council have confirmed that a road in Kiltimagh is due to undergo roadworks this week, with delays expected for commuters in the town.

The busy town will see one of its roads, the L-5956 Cloonkedagh Road, and the carpark frequently used by shoppers in the area, will undergo road resurfacing works in order to repair the tarmac.

The works start today (Monday, October 20) and will run until Thursday, October 24.

Traffic management will be in place for the duration of the four days, with those driving in the area are advised to expect delays on their travels.
