A popular Mayo couple rang in birthday celebrations in style, with well wishes extended from the local community for the unique event.
Frank Mullin, and his wife Kathleen, are well known in the village of Shrule as the owners of the local Londis supermarket in the town.
Frank, in fact, has spent 77 years behind the counter serving the people of the town, and celebrated a special milestone as he turned 90 in recent weeks.
In a unique twist, Kathleen also celebrated her 88th birthday on the same week.
The store saw lovely and touching scenes as staff, locals, and family all came together to celebrate with the pair, who were all smiles.
