Excitement is building in the East Mayo town of Foxford with the upcoming "Remembrance by Candlelight" concert in St. Michael's church Foxford, set to take place on Wednesday, October 29.
Opera singer Sean Ruane and Bernadette Ruddy, alongside St. Anne's choir ( UK), Maria Lynn, The Doherty's and The Doocey's. The musician's will set the tone for an elegant evening with their performances.
Last year's concert was nothing short of magical with a large presence and support lighting up the evening. The community is delighted to share that all will be gathering once again for another unforgettable night of music, ambience and community.
This event will bring together member's of the community to raise vital funds for two very deserving service's in the Foxford and surrounding areas. Foxford & District Alzheimer Trust (FACT) and Foxford's Search and Rescue. There is a great sense of admiration around the work both these services do in the Foxford and surrounding areas as no doubt these services truly make a difference in our community.
All funds raised will go directly to these two worthy services.
This event is about more than coming together, it's about raising much needed funds for services that directly help people right here in the community. Together, a beautiful evening of music and light while raising funds that will truly make a difference.
