Mayo celebrates wins at 2025 Hospitality Awards

County Mayo has emerged as a standout winner at the prestigious Georgina Campbell Irish Food & Hospitality Awards 2025, with four major accolades recognising excellence in food production, hospitality, and tourism. 

The 2025 winners of the annual Georgina Campbell Irish Food and Hospitality Awards were announced at a gala lunch at the InterContinental Dublin Hotel this week.  In the category for Best Velvet Pork Producer, Andarl Farm, Castlebar won, while the Hospitality Hero of the Year award went to Niall Rochford of Ashford Castle in Cong.  Additionally, Cafe Rua, Castlebar, was awarded the Happy Place Award 2025, while Ballycroy Visitor Centre and Ginger & Wild Café, Ballycroy, won the Visitor Attraction Award for 2025.

The annual Georgina Campbell Irish Food & Hospitality Awards were established by the renowned food writer in the 1990s to recognise a broad range of destinations and customers.
