Cancer Fund for Children are delighted to invite the Mayo community to a special information evening to learn more about the construction and development of Daisy Lodge, a unique, therapeutic short break facility which is currently being built on the shores of Lough Corrib in Cong.

Taking place at 6.30pm on Tuesday, September 9, at Lydon’s Lodge Hotel, this session will allow attendees to learn more about the build of this purpose-built facility which will provide vital support to children, young people and families impacted by cancer across the island of Ireland, as well as an opportunity to ask questions about its impact on the community.

Cancer Fund for Children ask that those planning to attend RSVP to rachelfullam@cancerfundforchildren.ie before September 1.

Cancer Fund for Children provides emotional, social and therapeutic support to children diagnosed with cancer and their families across the island of Ireland, in hospital, in the family home and at the charity’s existing short break centre, Daisy Lodge in Newcastle Co. Down. By building a second Daisy Lodge in Cong, Co. Mayo, Cancer Fund for Children will be able to provide short break support to even more families when they need it most.
