Wind and rain warnings have been put in place since 2am as Storm Floris brought wintery like conditions

Weather warnings in Mayo area set to end shortly after Storm Floris came into effect overnight

There were stormy conditions witnessed overnight, however both wind and rain warnings will expire today (Monday)

County Mayo is currently under a Status yellow wind and rain warning. After Storm Floris came into effect overnight, both warnings have been in place since 2am. 

There may be signs of structural damage, trees down, power outages while people may face difficult travelling conditions.

However, the rain warning is due to expire at 10am this morning (Monday) while the wind warning is set to continue on before expiring at 1pm today.
