Once off disruptions to popular train route this Saturday as bus transfers will operate

Bus services will be in place this Saturday between Ballyhaunis and Athlone

This upcoming Bank Holiday weekend will see disruptions to the Irish rail service as on Saturday, August 2, Westport to Dublin services will operate with bus transfers between Athlone and Ballyhaunis.

The bus transfers will operate for both ways as there are bridge works to be undergone between Ballyhaunis and Roscommon on Saturday. Mayo people travelling to Dublin should take note and be aware of the once off measures that will be in operation.

Customers are advised to check times before travel for Bank Holiday service alterations at www.irishrail.ie and the Iarnród Éireann app.
