Mary Kennedy will host the brand new series on TG4.
TG4, in partnership with the Western Development Commission (WDC), is proud to announce the return of its acclaimed series 'Moving West' for a much-anticipated season 4, hosted by the beloved broadcaster Mary Kennedy.
Produced by Dundara Television and Media, this year the spotlight shines on seven vibrant counties in the West and Northwest of Ireland that celebrate the rich tapestry of their heritage, the strength of their communities, and the bold innovation driving their future.
Following three successful seasons, the series continues to highlight the people and projects shaping life across the West of Ireland, from community-driven initiatives and cultural preservation to pioneering rural enterprises and forward-thinking solutions to regional challenges. Moving West is grounded in the personal journeys of those who have chosen the West and are helping to shape it in return.
“Across the West and Northwest, communities are stepping up with passion, pride, and creativity to shape a vibrant future rooted in place,” said Allan Mulrooney, CEO of the Western Development Commission. “We are proud to support a series that not only celebrates these incredible efforts but also inspires others to see the potential in their own localities.”
TG4 and the WDC are now inviting individuals, groups, organisations, and businesses from Sligo, Leitrim, Donegal, Mayo, Roscommon, Galway, and Clare to apply to be featured in season 4.
