Luke O'Callaghan of 9 Yards Ceramics from County Mayo is participating in the Design and Crafts Council Ireland Made Local campaign.
From his studio in Louisburgh, Luke creates minimal yet tactile pieces of ceramics which are made to be comfortable in use and used everyday.
The Made Local campaign celebrates the exceptional talent, skill, and creativity of Ireland’s designers and makers from studio to shop shelf. It is a reminder to people that buying locally produced, well-crafted products is much more meaningful, sustainable, and impactful.
This year, Made Local is calling on retailers across Ireland to register to become a member of the campaign. By joining Made Local, retailers across Ireland can show their support for the Irish design and craft industry by stocking beautiful products Made in Ireland.
