Mayo Gardaí attended the scene of a single-vehicle collision in the west of the county on Sunday, May 18.
The crash, which occurred in Newport on Sunday afternoon, caused significant delays in the town, in particular at the junction close to Corcoran’s Drapery Shop.

There were no reports of significant injury in the wake of the incident, with the scene being cleared by An Garda Síochána and traffic issues easing early in the evening.
