Small companies and start-ups in Mayo will be given a chance to learn valuable insights and grow their businesses, as a multitude of events take place across the county to mark this year’s Local Enterprise Week.
In all, 14 events will take place in the initiative, hosted by the Local Enterprise Office, one of which will discuss optimising AI.

Amongst the events is the finals of the Mayo Student Enterprise Programme, in which some young entrepreneurs will vie for a spot at the national edition.
Also, Niamh Ryan, the co-founder of skincare company Ella and Jo Cosmetics, will be hosting an event marking International Women’s Day.
The Head of Enterprise at Mayo County Council, John Magee, sees the week as hugely important in the development of SMEs in the county.
“There is something for everyone and those who maybe always had that ambition to start on their own, or a great idea, this is the week to see how to get started and make it happen.”
