The workshop, which is organised as a joint venture between Mayo, Galway an Roscommon’s Local Enterprise Offices, will cover how to deal with the challenges of AI, as well as leveraging advantages for SMEs and startup companies.

Those in attendance will get help with tackling real-world AI challenges, streamlining operations with the technology, enhancing efficiency, and leveraging AI for growth.

The Portershed, a company who help other businesses streamline their tech operations, will be collaborating with the Local Enterprise Offices for the event.

Their Programe Lead, Rosemary Gallagher, hopes the event will be beneficial for those aiming to navigate the complexities of AI.

“AI is such a buzz word, we’re being dazzled by headlines about huge company valuations, training large language models, curing disease, and changing the world. But we’re not going to talk about any of that,” she stated.

“We’re going to look at simple practical tips, small changes that businesses can make in their day-to-day so that the leaders and their team can gain the AI Advantage.”
