Four men arrested following criminal damage in Ballinrobe

Four men were arrested and charged with criminal damage at a property in Ballinrobe

FOUR men were arrested and charged with criminal damage following an arson attack at a house in Ballinrobe.

On Monday evening last, windows were broken in the property, followed by an arson attack on Tuesday evening, February 4. Four men, all with addresses in the Ballinrobe area, were arrested later that night.

On Wednesday evening, the four men were charged with criminal damage offences at Castlebar District Court.

One man was remanded in custody before appearing before Harristown District Court last Friday.

The other three were remanded on bail but have been ordered not to reside in the Ballinrobe area.

An enhanced policing presence was maintained in the Ballinrobe area in the days following the arrests.
