On the Realscreen website, "Ireland's Wild Islands" is characterised: "Board a stunning 140-year-old traditional sailboat and glide around Ireland’s Atlantic islands with host Eoin Warner. Spot throngs of basking sharks, frolicking humpback whales, warring grey seals, and many more of the country’s untamed wonders. Learn how Arctic terns negotiate a 50,000-mile-a-year commute to summer in Kerry’s Maharee Islands. Go whale-watching off Brandon Head, then witness Ireland’s greatest wildlife spectacle: a 1,000-strong grey seal colony on Great Blasket Island."
The Realscreen Awards celebrate excellence in unscripted and non-fiction entertainment. They honour creativity, authenticity, and originality. Winning a Realscreen Award is not only a mark of distinction within the entertainment industry but also a testament to the impact and quality of the work produced.
