WESTPORT Autism Friendly Town will hold its next public meeting on Monday, November 18 at 8 pm at Westport United FC’s clubhouse at United Park on the Golf Course Road.

In recent months, an Autism Friendly Town committee has been formed to make Westport a more welcoming place for autistic people. No prior registration is necessary to attend next Monday’s meeting.

All are welcome to attend and hear about the group’s progress so far this year in making Westport a more inclusive town. The group has held two public consultations on the subject so far this year.

Other Mayo towns, including Castlebar and Ballina, are also engaged with the nationally recognised Autism Friendly Town accreditation process.

Information can also be found on Westport Autism Friendly Town’s Instagram and Facebook.
