A record price was paid for a Mayo Black Faced Ram recently at a very busy sale at Maam Cross Mart. Owner Patrick O'Donavan travelled from Kerry to the sale and his Mayo bred ram won the aged ram class. The ram was bred by Tommy Chambers in Newport and after the sale Patrick Rowland from Glenhest purchased the ram for a record €4,050.
