The event takes place at the Linenhall this evening
The launch of the Castlebar Energy Master Plan will take place in the county town this evening.
The event entitled ‘Castlebar Tidy Towns, Sustainable Energy Community, Energy Costs: Getting started on Saving’ will be hosted by Castlebar Tidy Towns, with support from Mayo County Council and the SEAI.

The significant event will take place at The Linenhall on Thursday, and will kick off at 7pm, being launched by Minister of State for Local Government and Planning, Alan Dillon TD
“We would be delighted to have you join us as we mark this important milestone in Castlebar's journey towards sustainability. Your continued support is greatly appreciated,” said organisers.
The event will cover many areas including how to access grants to upgrade your home and reduce your winter bills, expert information on installing solar panels, information on energy retrofit, and learn more about the Energy Master Plan for Castlebar with speakers from WestQuay Energy, Churchfield Home Services, SEAI and others.
The event is free and all are welcome.
