Record numbers expected at Ireland West Airport this weekend

This weekend is expected to be the busiest ever June bank holiday at Ireland West Airport.

23,000 passengers are expected to pass through Ireland West Airport over the June bank holiday period. Passenger traffic is expected to be up by almost 10 percent versus the same period last year. Over 100 flights are expected to arrive and depart during what is expected to be the busiest June bank holiday in the airport’s history. Passengers travelling this weekend are advised to arrive at least 90 minutes before their scheduled flight departure time to avoid any unnecessary delays.
