The final countdown is on for this year's Together for Hospice, The National Hospice Movement’s, Hospice Sunflower Days.
The on-street collection for Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation takes place Friday 7, and Saturday 8 of June.
Volunteers will be taking to the streets all across Mayo to sell sunflower merchandise to help raise vital funds for Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation.
The public can also show their support for their chosen hospice or home care service by dedicating a virtual sunflower online in memory of a loved one whilst making a donation.
Every euro raised locally, stays locally so by donating online or supporting the on-street collection you are really helping your local hospice or home care service by allowing them to fund their hospice services, upgrade facilities or purchase new equipment.

Hospice and specialist palliative home care services need to raise approximately €20 million each year to provide their patient centred care and as our population ages, demand for specialist hospice and palliative home care services continues to grow.
They rely on funding raised through donations and fundraising campaigns, such as Hospice Sunflower Days, to help them to continue to provide this care and support.
Speaking ahead of the fundraiser, CEO, Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation, Martina Jennings, called on the public to help ‘make a real difference by donating’.
She added: “People can also show their support by donating what they can online and remember every euro raised locally, stays locally, so your contribution will really help Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation.”
You can support Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation by donating to the on-street collection, or by dedicating a virtual sunflower on the Sunflower Days website.
