The trailer for Lindsay Lohan’s new Mayo filmed romcom has dropped, but can you spot Westport town?

The first trailer for Irish Wish was released yesterday, and it finds the ‘Mean Girls’ star getting far more than she wished for at a wedding in Ireland.

Sound tracked by The Corrs hit ‘Breathless’, the new trailer sees Lohan sipping Guinness, Irish dancing in a pub and taking in the sites around picturesque Ireland.

‘Irish Wish’ was filmed across multiple Irish locations in October 2022, including Westport’s Octagon, and Knock airport.

The Hollywood actress previously boasted about her time here, saying  ‘Ireland’s so beautiful… the people are so nice, and the Guinness pies were amazing’.

The Netflix original also stars Ed Speleers, Jane Seymour, Alexander Vlahos, and more.

The romantic comedy follows Lohan’s character, Maddie Kelly, a shy book editor who is forced to put her feelings aside when the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend.

On her travels to Ireland, Maddie becomes all too familiar with the saying ‘be careful what you wish for’, when one hope turns her world upside down.

When slotted into the life she thought she wanted, Maddie faces the reality that it’s not what she expected.

‘Irish Wish’ will be available to stream on Netflix from March 15; watch the trailer below and watch out for a scene filmed at the Octagon in Westport after 1 minute and 2 seconds.
