PETS’ CORNER Twinkle is a lovely labrador cross, about two years old, who needs a loving forever home
Meet lovely Labrador cross Twinkle, a girl of about two years. She’s called Twinkle because despite the obvious terror she felt when she arrived at Madra, the humans there spotted a faint twinkle in her eye!
It took many weeks of coaxing and gentle talking, but she eventually uncurled out of a ball, and opened her heart. Now she has wags aplenty for people she meets. As Twinkle was likely never socialised, she’s terrified of walking on a lead. She’ll need a quiet home with someone with the patience to teach her that new things can lead to lots of fun. Another dog would be great too.
Twinkle is just one of many Mayo and Galway rescue dogs at Connemara-based Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption (MADRA) looking for a loving home. All dogs are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Please see www.madra.ie, visit MADRA’s Facebook page or call or text Marina on 086 8149026.
