Ten-year-old pointer Ruby is in a wonderful foster home, who have nothing but good things to say about her. Unfortunately, this is short term, so MADRA are still looking for suitable fosterers or a forever home.
Ruby was anxious and unsettled in kennels but has settled into family life easily and even goes to work with her foster mum. She loves her walks, playing and being outside. Ruby will need a home where someone is home most of the day, as she seeks company and has a busy mind, but young children would probably be a bit noisy for her.
Ruby is just one of many Mayo and Galway rescue dogs at Connemara-based Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption (MADRA) looking for a loving home. All dogs are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Please see www.madra.ie, email info@madra.ie or call 091 584274.
