October – Theodore
Theodore, a gorgeous, gentle eight-year-old Collie, has come on hard times, but he is being an absolute soldier. He was surrendered to the pound, as he was no longer needed. Likely a working dog, he has now lost most of his sight. He still loves a walk, especially through the long grass.
Theodore is a real sweetheart who will snuggle into you, once he knows you’re there and trusts you. He’ll need a quiet home, as he can be startled by sudden noises, and a secure garden.
Theodore is just one of many Mayo and Galway rescue dogs at Connemara-based Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption (MADRA) looking for a loving home. All dogs are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. See
