Gallen’s gallivanting again

COMEDY Comedian Conal Gallen returns to Westport Town Hall Theatre with his new comedy play, ‘Caught in the Act’

COMEDY CAPER ‘Caught in the Act’ sees three actors take on nine rolls, with hilarious consequences.

Award-winning comedian Conal Gallen is returning to Westport Town Hall Theatre on Saturday, October 19, with his brand-new comedy play, ‘Caught in the Act’ as part of his nationwide tour of theatres across Ireland, north and south.
Conal and his son, Rory Gallen, have teamed up once again and come up with another fast-paced, slap-stick comedy that will have audiences laughing out loud.
Billed as an outrageously funny laugh-a-minute comedy ‘filled to the hoozle’ with pure mischief and a wee bit of mystery, this show has already been packing out venues throughout the land. In true Conal Gallen fashion, a few surprises are thrown in – and most of the time the cast get the biggest surprise of all!
Conal’s play features his much-loved characters, Bridie, Willie, Dick, Betty and the infamous Big Mad Mickey O’Reilly, and a few new faces, who he describes as having ‘a certain je ne sais quoi!’.
Three actors – Conal Gallen, Paddy McMenamin and Jack Quinn – play the parts of the show’s nine characters, adding to the hilarity.

Suitable for audiences aged 16 and over. For tickets (€25 each), call Westport Theatre Box Office on 098 28459 or visit westporttheatre.com. Curtains up at 8pm.
