HEADLINING Singer/Songwriter Declan O’Rourke.
Singer/songwriter Declan O’Rourke will headline a very special night of song and dance on September 30 at Ostan Oilean Acla (Achill Island Hotel), with all proceeds going to Irish Motor Neuron and the Galway Hospice Foundation.
The night is being held in memory of frequent Achill Island visitor Joan Egan, who passed away last year. Joan, who was involved in the television and theatre business for many years, had connections the world-renowned Riverdance Irish dance troupe, who will also be performing.
Local Achill musician Graham Sweeney and his band will open the night, hot on the heels of their appearance at Electric Picnic.
All artists and technicians involved are giving their time for free.
Tickets, a30 each, are available on tickets.ie. A limited number of tickets are also available at Ostan Oilean Acla reception.
