PETS’ CORNER August’s Mutt of the Month: Feather

Meet two-year-old Feather, a beautiful, fun-loving female collie who desperately needs a loving home

Mutt of the Month
September — Feather

My name is Feather, I’m a friendly two-year-old Collie girl and I’m all about fun. I’m a real live wire, and I like to be in the thick of things and be involved in whatever you’re doing.
I am looking for a home where all that energy is appreciated and not frowned on, so if you’re looking for a dog to sleep all day, you need not apply!
I want a fun family who want to do stuff like agility or obedience or clicker training or something fun like that. I’ve heard of activities like flyball or frisbee, and they sound  right up my street too. Anything to keep my active mind and body busy.
I get a bit over excited when I meet other dogs, so I might prefer to be an only dog, or at least go to an experienced dog-owning home.
I am a lovely friendly girl, and we can fit in loads of cuddles too … right after those fun games we’re going to play!

Feather is just one of many Mayo and Galway rescue dogs at Connemara-based Mutts Anonymous Dog Rescue and Adoption (MADRA) looking for a loving home. All dogs will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Please see www.madra.ie, visit MADRA’s Facebook page or call or text Marina on 086 8149026.
