The hair-raising twins are back in The Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on St Valentine’s night Tuesday, February 14
’Sup Valentine?
The hair-raising twins are back in The Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on St Valentine’s night Tuesday, February 14, as the demand for Jedward concerts shows no signs of slowing down. The quirky duo John and Edward – love them or hate them – have had an exceptional year in 2011. They have started their own television series, become ambassadors for Childline and the new faces of the 3 Mobile television adverts. After touring all over Ireland and Europe, performing in pantomimes, finishing in third place in Celebrity Big Brother, and coming eighth in the Eurovision song contest (Ireland’s best result in the competition for the last elevens year), it’s no wonder the energetic pair are singing ‘Wow Oh Wow’, the third single from their album ‘Victory’. Shortly after Eurovision, Jedward performed in front of an audience of 60,000 people at College Green in Dublin ahead of the speech by visiting US President Barack Obama. And now the dynamic duo are keen to get back and perform a brand new show for all their beloved fans, for what will be their tenth appearance at the Royal Theatre, Castlebar. So girls, get your lipstick on – it’ll be Valentine’s night after all…
Jedward will play at The Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on February 14. Tickets, €27.65 each, are available from The Royal Theatre on 0818 300 000 or from Ticketmaster and www.ticketmaster.ie.
