Mayo County Council launches a questionnaire to inform future housing schemes.
Mayo County Council has launched an online survey to better understand the demand for affordable housing across County Mayo.
The survey is aimed at individuals and households who may be interested in purchasing a home under the Affordable Housing Scheme. The results will help the local authority assess the level of demand and inform the planning of future affordable housing developments in the county.
Residents are invited to take part in the survey before the closing date of Friday, April 10, 2026.
The council has emphasised that completing the questionnaire does not imply eligibility for affordable housing, nor does it constitute an application for the scheme. Participation also does not guarantee that affordable homes will be made available in any particular area.
Instead, the survey is intended solely to gather information about potential demand and to assist the council in planning future housing initiatives.
