Corrib Oil, a service station and energy provider, recently held its “Tea Day” across its outlets in Galway and Mayo, successfully raising over €6,500 in support of its charity partner, Western Alzheimer's. All revenues from tea and coffee sales between 6 am and 11 am on the day were donated to the charity.
Western Alzheimer's provides care and advisory services in the community for people and families living with dementia, with day services also offered in centres across Galway, Roscommon & Mayo.
“We are delighted to continue supporting Western Alzheimer's and the incredible work they do for families living with dementia. Our participation in Tea Day not only helps raise vital funds but also gives our customers a chance to contribute to their local communities.” Says Phillip Monks, Chief Marketing Officer, Corrib Oil.
“We’re committed to continue making a positive impact both through our services and through initiatives that matter.” He added
Triona Joyce, Fundraising Manager at Western Alzheimer's, added: “We are thrilled to receive this generous donation from Corrib Oil. Their ongoing support makes a real difference in the lives of families living with dementia, helping us reach over 500 families and continue expanding our services across the region.”
