Two Mayo U20 Players named in GAA Team of the Year

Two Mayo players have been named in the Dalata Hotel Group U20 Football Team of the Year. 

Kilmaine’s Hugh O’Loughlin who put in an outstanding season for Peadar Gardiner’s side features at wing back on the team. The speedy defender was vice captain for the Mayo side that claimed Connacht glory, while losing out to Louth in the All Ireland Semi Final halted Mayo’s season. 

In the forwards, Darragh Beirne makes the team of the Year, as the Claremorris sharpshooter was in fine form throughout the campaign. The deadly accurate inside forward was impressive in games as his shooting caught the eye of many.
