New over 23's late night venue to open in Mayo

A brand new late night venue is set to open in Westport.

BAR 23, the innovative new over 23’s venue with free entry, is set within the reimagined walls of The Castle Late Night Venue.

The Corcoran family is thrilled to announce the grand opening of the new venue, one of Westport's most iconic late-night hot spots.

Opening its doors on August 24, BAR 23 promises to redefine nightlife in the region, offering

two distinct experiences under one roof.

The Corcoran's and O'Donnell O'Neill, developed a concept that captures the essence of Westport’s unique charm while offering a fresh, exciting environment for all.

Designed with duality in mind, BAR 23 caters to different audiences, airing a ‘sophisticated retreat’ for the crowd and embodying the spirit of Westport with a ‘traditional yet dynamic’ aesthetic. 

The venue has a ‘rustic’ feel, with exposed brick and vintage workshop-inspired decor creating a welcoming atmosphere. Deep buttoned leather seating and heritage colour palettes all contribute to an

experience that feels both timeless and contemporary.

The Garden Bar compliments the venue, offering space with a bar and outdoor seating. The space is ideal for any special occasion, private party or corporate gathering as the venue also offers BBQ parties and a variety of finger food options.

Upstairs in The Castle remains an over 18s venue. 

The grand opening of BAR 23 takes place on August 24.
