The annual Irish Law Awards took place at the weekend
A county Mayo based legal firm, P O’Connor & Son, is celebrating their major success at the annual Irish Law Awards 2024.
The Swinford solicitors scooped the accolade as Law Firm of the Year 2024 (Regional Connaught/Ulster).
Additionally, its Managing Partner, Samantha Geraghty, was named Practitioner of the Year (Regional Connaught Ulster).
The annual Irish Law Awards aim to recognise excellence in Ireland’s legal profession.
Speaking at the gala ceremony in the Clayton Hotel, Dublin, Ms Geraghty said the latest accolades could be attributed to the ‘tremendous efforts of the entire team at the firm’.
Ms Geraghty is a former recipient of the Irish Language Practitioner of the Year award.
The Irish Law Awards aim to identify, honour and publicise outstanding achievements, while also recognising those who have dedicated their lives to serving in the legal profession.
The annual event is designed to recognise excellence in the legal profession in Ireland, commending the achievements of lawyers.
