Westport RFC have launching a ticket fundraising raffle, with the club having secured a pair of tickets to be won for the next three home Ireland Six Nations games. The three fantastic prizes are a pair of tickets for each of Ireland’s home games.
Draw 1 - Ireland v Italy, Sunday, February 11, 3pm kick off. Draw 2 - Ireland v Wales, Saturday, February 24, 2.15pm kick off. Draw 3 9 Ireland v Scotland, Saturday, March 16, 4.45pm kick off.
This is the club's first fully online campaign, and they are asking for the people of Westport and the surrounding areas to get behind the raffle and support it.
Liz Brady, Chair of the Club says: “All funds raised are going to be invested into the club to improve our facilities. With over 600 club members we need everyone to get involved in this, our players come from all over, Achill to Louisburgh and everywhere in between!
Our coaches and volunteers work so hard and give their time so freely, we need to raise funds to improve our facilities so the up and coming teams can maximise their potential.”
The club are asking people to buy a ticket online, to share the details of the raffle and help us get the word out there!
